India 1825-59 collection of entires/entire letters/envelopes mounted and written-up on pages, twenty-eight items all to the U.K. from a wide range of regiments at numerous different locations and campaigns, showing a range of postal markings including a variety of despatch handstamps, three with U.K. India Soldiers handstamps, one carried privately and placed in the post in London, two from Burma (1845 and 1854), one written internally (1850) and three written during the Indian Mutiny; a large percentage with typed transcripts; condition very mixed with some stained or with other faults though a fascinatiing group Estimate £ 800-1,000
