Hong Kong 1852 (17 Aug.) 1d. pink stationery envelope from Shaw Mills, Yorkshire to "John Harker L.I. 59 Regt. 1st. Company No. 1759 Hongcong China", cancelled "447" and with manuscript "Dead" as Lance Corporal Harker had sadly succumbed to dysentery before the letter could be delivered, the reverse with four U.K. c.d.s. and two Hong Kong c.d.s. for 20 and 28 October.
