Burma Andaman Islands 1893 (Mar.) Soldier´s and Seamen´s 9p. envelope from "2543 Lce Cpl E Haward Det 1st. Norfolk Regt Port Blair" to England, countersigned by the Commanding Officer and cancelled with squared-circle d.s.; upon arrival the envelope endorsed "Gone no address" and showing framed "Gone No address/488" h.s. and with two different King´s Lynn d.s. (11.4), the reverse with two further transit c.d.s., London Returned Letter Office c.d.s. (12.4), boxed "d.l.o./bombay" d.s. (5.6) and similar for Rangoon (22.6); small part of reverse torn away and with other small faults nevertheless very rare and full of character.
