South Africa Official Stamps 1926-54 mint collection neatly mounted on leaves, including 1926 (Dec.) 6d. pair with watermark upright, 1929-31 6d. marginal block of four with showing stop after "offisieel", 1/- (2) and 2/6d. pairs (3), the latter with one showing stop after "official" on Afrikaans stamp; 1930-47 range of pairs with 2d. blue and violet (3), 2d. blue and violet, 1/- and 2/6d. blue and brown blocks of four, a selection of misplaced overprints on values to 2d., 1d. code "B" corner block of twelve and 2/6d. green and brown corner pair with part strikes of the overprints in margin; 1935-49 selection of pairs with 2d., 6d. Type I, 1/-, 5/- (2) and 10/- (2), and 1950-54 1/- (3, one blackish brown), 2/6d. (2), 5/- black and blue-green (two shades), 5/- black and deep yellow-green (4) and 10/ (2) pairs; generally good to fine. Cat. £4,500+ Estimate £ 1,800-2,000
