(Jones II, 306; Rondot, Rev. Num. 1888, 136 and 271, 11), suspension loop, good very fine and an attractive sharp cast Estimate £ 250-300 This medal and that of Madeleine de Crequy, Neufville´s wife (see next lot), were commissioned by the consulate of Lyon. Rondot knew of 25 examples of this medal.
