Osborne.), good very fine Estimate £ 150-180 First Class Petty Officer Thomas Henry Lee, born Chard, Devon 1844; served in various ships from 1859; discharged 1875 after 15 years 170 days service; re-engaged 1875 for service in H.M.Y. Osborne; First Class Petty Officer 1880; discharged 1880. H.M.Y. Osborne launched in 1868, replacing the Royal Yacht Victoria & Albert II, was used extensively by the Royal Family during the 1870s to 90s, and subsequently sold in 1908.
