Japanese Occupation of Malaya The chop Type numbers are taken from "Malaya, Japanese Occupation" by James Gallatly Perak Covers and Cancellations 1943 (Jan.) - 1945 (Feb.) envelopes (12, five window types) from Ipoh, including eight bearing Pictorial 8c. tied by Types D22 (2) and JD5/6 (6), 1943 (2) bearing Straits 8c. and Perak 8c. with "Kanji" tied by Type D22, 1943 (Jan.) to Teluk Anson and redirected to Kampar bearing Japan 3s. and 5s. tied by Type D22, and 1943 (Mar.) bearing Japan 1s.
