Japanese Occupation of Malaya The chop Type numbers are taken from "Malaya, Japanese Occupation" by James Gallatly Perak Covers and Cancellations 1942 (Sept.) - 1945 (Feb.) envelopes (15) from Telik Anson, including ten bearing Pictorial 2c. tied by Japanese Type JD3, 1942 (28 Sept.) locally addressed and registered bearing "dai nippon" Pahang 8c. and Selangor 15c. tied by Type D16, 1943 (12 Mar.) to Kampar bearing Perak "Kanji" 2c. on 5c. tied by Type D16, and another bearing "dai nippon" Pahang 1c. pair and Japan 6s. tied by Type D16; also two receipts issued at Kampar, one with "a.r" h.s.
