Octavo, pp. xxiv, 630 (2); 41 finely engraved plates, some spotting on most. Original decorated cloth, upper cover and back-strip loose; back gilt, spine worn. Text clean and fresh; with one or two pencil annotations. A very reasonable copy of the first edition of Boyne´s foundation work. Neatly engraved bookplate on first pastedown. Estimate £ 50-60
