Hong Kong Treaty Ports Shanghai 1876 (12 Oct.) entire letter to the London Missionary Society "per French Mail" bearing 4c. slate and 24c. green cancelled by a fair strike of "S1" in blue with London Paid (22.11) at left, the reverse with blue despatch, Hong Kong (16.10) and a good strike of the small Merson & Co double oval with manuscript "forwarded by" in centre; extraordinarily fresh and a fine example of the scarce 28c. rate.
