Great Britain Other Illustrated Envelopes 1902 (23 Oct.) enigmatic pen and ink scene of a cigar-smoking ´Uncle Sam´ type figure contemplating a young man standing on the opposite shore separated by a body of water inscribed "Herring Pond", the legend below reads "Shan´t be coming over now Dad - am bossing a little trust of my own now", addressed simply to "Mike" at New Wortley bearing K.E.VII 1d. tied by Bramley duplex cancellation; a fine, most appealing and very well executed item.
