Great Britain Line-Engraved Issues 1840 One Penny Black Plate 1b DH and RG, used together on neat clean entire letter from Stranraer to Wigtown dated 25 October 1840, tied by fine light strikes of the red Maltese Cross, good to enormous margins (each showing portion of an adjoining stamp on one side); DH with light crease though in no way detracting from this fine and extremely attractive exhibition cover.
