British Guiana Great Britain used in British Guiana "A03" Demerara 1860 (21 Jan.) entire from Paramaribo "via Southampton" to Dunkirk, France, bearing 1855-57 6d. lilac and 1856-58 1d. rose-red each clearly cancelled "A03", showing circular-framed "PD", London Paid (17.2) and Calais (17.2) transit c.d.s., all on face, the reverse with "paramaribo/franco" d.s. in blue, Demerara (25.1) and Dunkirk (18.2) c.d.s.; one name of the addressee expunged in biro, and the folds with some separation in places, nevertheless a rare franking Estimate £ 1,200-1,500
