British Guiana Great Britain used in British Guiana "A03" Demerara 1859 (11 Apr.) entire letter "p Mail" to Liverpool, bearing 1855-57 4d. rose and 1856-58 1d. rose-red horizontal pair (one with faults at foot) each clearly cancelled "A03" and showing, on reverse, Demerara, London (5.4) and Liverpool (5.5) c.d.s. Attractive and a rare franking of the 6d. rate to England.
