Hiberno-Norse, Phase II, c.1015-1035, Penny(2), 0.73g, 1.06g, Group A, 3/c, in the name of Sihtric, bust left, imitating Long Cross issue of Aethelred II, trefoil of pellets behind neck, nntrc rex dhn, rev. voided long cross with pellets in angles, [..]riei[..]io dilh (SCBI Ulster 98-100; S.6125- obverse only); another, similar, cross potent behind neck, inyi rer+ diedn, rev. similar but with pellet in each angle and in cross end, fiereien mo dyni (S.6125), the first, right edge chipped, obverse with left edge double struck but fine, reverse weak, fair, with slight corrosion; the second, rim chipped at lower edge, good very fine, appears rather base, perhaps imitative (2) Estimate £ 400-500
