The South Africa 1879 Medal to Trooper A.J. Mansfield, Cape Yeomanry, Wounded During the Siege of Morosi´s Mountain Stronghold South Africa 1877-79, one clasp, 1879 (Tpr. A.J. Mansfield, C/3rd. Cape Yeory.), toned, light scratches to obverse, therefore nearly extremely fine Estimate £ 750-800 Trooper A.J. Mansfield served in the Graffe Reinet Troop, Cape Mounted Yeomanry during the Zulu War and was wounded by a bullet during the Siege of Morosi´´s Mountain stronghold. Two Victoria Crosses were awarded for the Siege and Capture of the stronghold.
