Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika 1899 (24 Oct.) British East Africa 2a. size H2 registered envelope, uprated with 1a. (2), from the "clerk acctts office Nyrabi" to the Postmaster-General at Mombasa, the adhesives and registered letter stamp impression both cancelled with fair strikes of the temporary "mombasa" c.d.s. used on the Kilindini-Railhead T.P.O. (Proud D1), the reverse with arrival d.s. (27.10). A rare cancellation, only in use for eight weeks. Photo Estimate £ 350-400
