Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika 1899 (21 Sept.) British East Africa 2a. size H2 registered envelope, uprated with 2 1/2a., to Hong Kong, the adhesive and registered letter stamp impression both cancelled with fair strikes of the temporary "mombasa" c.d.s. used on the Kilindini-Railhead T.P.O. (Proud D1) and showing oval-frame with manuscript "204" at centre, the reverse with Aden (3.10), Colombo (13.10) and Singapore (22.10) c.d.s. The envelope with two creases though a rare cancellation, only in use for eight weeks. Photo Estimate £ 280-300
