R.), last officially re-impressed, extremely fine and extremely rare (4) Estimate £ 100-120 Lieutenant Thomas Ewart Lee, born 1895; enlisted in the 2nd Dragoon Guards, October 1914; remained on the Reserve of Cavalry until June 1915; transferred as Private, Duke of Wellington´s (West Riding) Regiment; sailed for Gallipoli, August 1915, and served with the 8th Battalion; promoted Sergeant, March 1916; served on the Western Front, July 1916- May 1917; Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, Worcestershire Regiment, May 1917; present in the Afghanistan operations of 1919.
