Fife.); Territorial Efficiency Medal, G.V.R. (1806 Sjt. A.E. Fife. 4-R. Scots.), rank officially corrected on last, otherwise nearly extremely fine (4) Estimate £ 100-120 Lieutenant Albert Edward Fife, born Edinburgh, July 1891, and named after the Prince of Wales; enlisted 4th Battalion, Royal Scots, April 1908; promoted Sergeant, 8.2.1915; served with his Regiment in Gallipoli, May 1915-January 1916; attached 9 Officer Cadet Battalion, 2.8.1916; Commissioned Second Lieutenant, Machine Gun Corps, 7.11.1916; joined 140 Company, Machine Gun Corps in the Field, at Camiers, France, 15.2.1917; wounded in action with a gun shot wound in the right forearm, which fractured two bones, at Wytschaete, 10.6.1917; sent home as unfit, 4.9.1917; employed at Grantham Training Centre, 11.5.1918-29.1.1919; relinquished his Commission on account of his wounds, with the rank of Lieutenant, 26.2.1919. Also received a Silver War Badge, No. 113637.
