x CANADA The Small Queen Issue Six Cents Yellowish Brown Montreal and Ottawa Printings, Perforated 12 Covers 1872 (3 Aug.) envelope from St. Pierre and Miquelon to Philadelphia, bearing 6c. yellowish brown cancelled with void oval of bars and showing despatch c.d.s. below and North Sydney, C.B. c.d.s. (5.8) to left of adhesive, trace of Halifax transit d.s. (7.8) on reverse; the adhesive with pre-use horizontal crease though a rare and most unusual usage. Photo Estimate £ 500-600 provenance: W.
