A. & S.H.), number partly officially corrected; 1939-1945 Star; Africa Star; Defence and War Medals, very fine or better, mounted for wear, with photographic image of recipient (5) Estimate £ 180-220 2982007 Private/Drummer Robert E. Matty, born Cheltenham; served as a Regular soldier in Palestine prior to the Second War; made P.O.W. at Crete, 23.5.1941 and imprisoned in Oflag VII B, near Regensburg, Germany; died circa 1991, still a resident of Cheltenham at the time.
