Seaforth.); 1939-1945 Star; War Medal; General Service 1918-62, G.VI.R., one clasp, Malaya (2816976 W.O. Cl. 2. H. Travers. Seaforth.); Army Long Service & G.C., G.VI.R., 1st ´Ind: Imp:´ type, with ´Regular Army´ bar suspension (2816976 W.O. Cl. 3. H. Travers. Seaforth.), generally good very fine, with Dunkirk Veteran´s Medal, in card box of issue, and riband bar (5) Estimate £ 300-340 Sergeant Major Harrison Travers, born 1909, a native of Northampton; enlisted Seaforth Highlanders, 27.3.1928 and was serving as a Platoon Sergeant Major when he was taken Prisoner of War at St. Valery, France, 12.6.1940; he was imprisoned at Stalag XXIB Schokken, Poland, July 1940-June 1941; Stalag XXID Warthelager, Poland (a working camp where he was a Company Commander), June 1941-August 1944; Stalag 344 Lamsdorf, August 1944-June 1945 before moving from camp to camp between January-May 1945 and his eventual release that year (P.O.W. Debrief refers).
