Goodman were the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Goodman of Barking, Essex. 3125 Private William Charles Goodman, born 1894; served during the Great War with "B" Company 4th Battalion Essex Regiment in the Gallipoli Theatre of War from, 12.8.1915, and died of wounds 20.9.1915; he is commemorated on the Helles Memorial, Turkey.
