W.Gds.); Victory Medal, last medal erased, good very fine, with copy of service papers (2) Estimate £ 80-100 3184 Guardsman Thomas Henry Grimshaw, born Barrowford, Lancashire; joined Army Reserve 11.12.1915; mobilized and posted Welsh Guards, 30.9.1916; served during the Great War with the Regiment in the French Theatre of War from 14.3. 1917; serving with the 1st Battalion he was killed in action, 20.9.1917, and is buried in Canada Farm Cemetery, Ypres, Belgium.
