Gds.); Victory Medal, last medal erased, extremely fine, with Great War Bronze Memorial Plaque, ´John Jones´, in original card envelope of issue (3) Estimate £ 350-450 1389 Guardsman John Jones, born Tonypandy, Glamorgan; enlisted Welsh Guards, 8.5.1915; served during the Great War with the regiment in the French Theatre of War, 5.11.1915-3.5.1916; Jones was killed in action on the latter date and is buried in the Ypres Reservoir Cemetery, Belgium.
