Foot), scroll suspension, extremely fine Estimate £ 80-110 Staff Sergeant Charles Henry Wilton, born Northwood, Hampshire; enlisted in the 2nd Foot, July 1848; promoted Corporal, March 1852; Sergeant, March 1859; Staff Sergeant, October 1862; Awarded Long Service & G.C. Medal 1869; discharged January 1870 after 21 years and 237 days with the colours, of which two months were spent in Malta, three years and seven months in Greece, and 11 years and three months in India.
