Regt. 1847) central suspension post replaced, edge bruising, otherwise about very fine (2) Estimate £ 1,000-1,200 Sergeant Major William Wenn, born Minster, Isle of Sheppey, Kent, 1807; enlisted in the 2nd Foot, May 1825; Promoted Corporal, December 1833; Sergeant, October 1836; Sergeant Major, July 1845; Discharged August 1846 after 21 years and 80 days with the colours, of which 19 years and 8 months were spent in India.
