Hall) e) Army Meritorious Service Medal, G.V.R. (240678 Pte.- A.Sjt:- F.W. Hall. 5/The Queen´s R.) f) Iraq, King Faisal Active Service Medal, the Great War Medals post-1921 issue, generally good very fine, with portrait photograph of the recipient (7) Estimate £ 1,800-2,200 M.B.E. London Gazette 3.6.1925 Lieutenant (Local Major) Francis William Hall, Regular Army Reserve of Officers, General List, Ordnance Officer, Iraq Levies. M.S.M. London Gazette 15.10.1918 240678 Pte. (A./Sjt.) F.W. Hall, R.W. Surrey R. (Guildford). ´In recognition of valuable services rendered with the Forces in Mesopotamia during the present War´. Major Francis William Hall, M.B.E., is first listed as serving with the Iraq Levies in 1919, and is listed as still serving in the January 1932 Air Force List; this, combined with his M.B.E. citation confirms his entitlement to all three clasps on his G.S.M. A copy of the recipient´s M.I.C. is included which also confirms clasp entitlement.
