x St. Vincent The Packet Service The following group of datestamps have been re-classified by Peter Jaffé and the Type numbers that follow are his classification. Fleuron Datestamp, Type Ia First State (final "s" complete and "c" raised), 1806-1810 1806 (9 May) fragile entire to Peterhead, rated "2/4" (deleted) and "2/6" and showing, on reverse across join, a good strike of "st vincents" fleuron d.s.; the entire in a rather distressed state, nevertheless this is the earliest recorded date for the fleuron datestamp.
