China British Post Office hankow: 1899 (24 Feb.) 1c. stationery card to England uprated with pair of C.I.P. 2c. red cancelled by fine strikes of Hankow Dollar chop used in combination with pair of Hong Kong 2c. carmine tied by Hong Kong c.d.s. and Dudley arrival c.d.s.; a vertical folding crease, but a fine and attractive card, few examples of the Hankow Dollar chop are recorded used in 1899. Over paid by 1c. as the rate was reduced from 5c. to 4c. on 1st January 1899. Photo
