"Touraine", fire in No. 2 hold, 800-900 miles from Le Havre en route from New York, U.S. 5c. envelope (some hinge repairs on face panel) from Boston to Egypt, marked "Per S.S. La Touraine" on face and bearing, on reverse, two Egyptian Found Open and Officially Sealed labels, one cancelled cancelled with tri-lingual "damaged in transit" handstamp in magenta, the other with "passed by censor/ps" h.s. in lilac.
