Maritime Wreck Covers of the World Europe 1850 (12-15 Jan.) "Hottinguer", went on to the Blackwater Bank off Wexford, Ireland, large part front of an envelope, attached to commercial invoice contents with red wax seal of the Liverpool Packet Office, from Liverpool to New York, marked "pr Hottinguer" and showing "24" and "19/cents" rate h.s. alongside manuscript "Saved from the Wreck of the Hottinguer" in red ink, the reverse with Liverpool oval d.s. (19.1) applied when returned after the wreck; the only item recorded from this wreck. Photo
