Maritime Wreck Covers of the World West Indies 1859 (30 June) paddle steamer "Paramatta", ran aground on her maiden voyage on the Horseshoe Reef, near Anegada, 60 miles from St. Thomas, 15 June entire letter (two stained vertical filing folds) from Le Havre "Per Steamer "Paramatta"" to Trinidad, bearing 80c. cancelled "1495" and showing Le Havre Bureau Maritime c.d.s. and boxed "P.P.", both in red and, on reverse, Southampton (16.6) and Trinidad (10.7) c.d.s. on reverse.
