Cape of Good Hope 1855-63 white paper 1/- deep dark green with close margins in places, clearly tied on 1863 (16 Oct.) envelope from Port Elizabeth to London, marked "per RM Steamer", showing red crayon "11", London Paid c.d.s. and, on reverse, despatch and Cape Town datestamps; the envelope a little soiled though a rare stamp on cover.
