A Bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II A hollow metal head and shoulders bust, depicting the Emperor in the fur-trimmed pelisse of a Hussar regiment, on a circular plinth, approximately 20in. (50 cm) high overall, painted brown See illustration Note: The uniform is that of The Life Guard Hussar Regiment, or one or other of the Life Hussar Regiments (known as the Death´s Head Hussars) of all of which the Kaiser was Colonel. Curiously, although he appears to be wearing the shoulder-cords of a General Officer with a regimental uniform (as was the practice in the German Army) the sculptor has not given him cyphers or badges of rank.
