x Pair: Private T.I. Taig, Parachute Regiment General Service 1962-, one clasp, Northern Ireland (24070808 Pte. T.I. Taig Para.), minor edge bruising; United Nations Medal for Cyprus, otherwise good very fine, mounted court style as originally worn, with an interesting signed testimonial by a collector who bought the medals directly from the recipient stating that Taig, ´told me that he was involved in the ´Bloody Sunday´ shooting in Ireland and in fact was so sickened with the whole business that when he heard that the Para´s were going into Ireland for a fourth turn of duty he bought himself out.´ (2) Estimate £ 200-250
