Auction: 6021 - Great Britain Stamps & Covers
Lot: 125
x Great Britain Postal History Ireland 1745 (c.) entire letter from Limerick to Dublin, ink endorsement at lower-left corner giving the appearance of a ´free frank´ letter but determined by a postal inspector to be a fake and showing good strike of the very rare black ´horseshoe´ type "counterfeit/2" overstruck on a light straight-line "limerick"; minor cover defects and slight water staining though otherwise fine and still most appealing.
