An Officer´s Pouchbelt of the Cheshire Yeomanry A red leather belt, faced with 2in. silver "Bias and Stand" lace, plain silver buckle, tip and slide, all HM J&Co, B´ham 1908, the belt now fitted with fine silver prickers and chains, the plate and chain-boss both by same maker, variously dated See illustration Note: The Cheshire Yeomanry did not wear prickers on their pouchbelts, and the set of prickers on this example does not appear to have been designed for it, despite being the work of the same silversmith.
