x United States of America Carrier Stamp Honour´s City Post, (2c.) black on bluish with large even margins, used with 1851-57 3c. claret with clear to large margins, both tied by "aitken/s.c" c.d.s. dated 27 June on small envelope to Charleston with additional railroad depot address; the envelope with very minor soiling and tiny hole at top. Very fine and a unique usage of the Honour´s stamp from Aitken to prepay the carrier fee within Charleston. P.F. Certificate (1985).
