Indian States, Patiala, Order of Krishna, a Rare Set of Insignia, of excellent quality, by Spink, London comprising: (a) Collar Chain, 66cm, silver-gilt and enamel, comprising four circular floral designs linked with four silver conch links, four crossed maces and four quoit links, the whole chain divided by a ceremonial crown which supports an integral Badge, 70mm x 58mm, silver-gilt and enamel, depicting Krishna playing a flute to Radha, surrounded by an inscription with the manufacturer´s name (b) Star, 82mm, silver-gilt and enamel, with the central medallion as for the Collar Badge, surmounted by a ceremonial crown, reverse fitted with the Spink and Son plate reading, ´Medallists to H.B.M. The King´, extremely fine, circa 1935, with two full sash ribands, in [slightly damaged] case of issue (3) Estimate £ 6,000-7,000Believed to be one of only three sets manufactured. The Order was intended for award to Hindus only.
