Indian States, Patiala, Family Order, an Extremely Rare Knight Grand Cross set of insignia, of excellent quality, by Spink, London, comprising: (a) Collar Chain, 52cm, silver-gilt and enamel, comprising two crossed leaf motifs surmounted by a red enamel lotus flower, two crossed swords, two katar within an enamelled wreath and two bow and arrow devices, the whole chain divided by a circular band in blue enamel with crossed lances and pennants, which supports an integral Badge, 79mm x 63mm, silver-gilt and enamel, being a wreathed five pointed star with crown above, with central medallion depicting a standing and seated figure beneath a tree (b) Star, 91mm, silver-gilt and enamel, with central medallion as for the Collar Badge, surmounted by a ceremonial crown, reverse fitted with the Spink and Son plate reading, ´Medallists to H.B.M. The King´ (c) Sash Badge, 75mm x 64mm, silver-gilt and enamel with integral loop suspension, of similar design to the Collar Badge but with plain rays, extremely fine, circa 1935, with full sash riband, in case of issue (3) Estimate £ 5,000-6,000Believed to be the only known set of insignia of the Order.
