#8, 1867 100c Green, another rare plate reconstruction composed of used stamps featuring the exceptionally rare block of 24 making up the first four vertical rows, the last row consists of a pair at top completed by a strip of four at bottom, all with large margins, a horizontal fold between the two middle row affects both the block and the strip, the frequency of this fold in both mint and used multiples implies that the sheets were contemporaneously folded prior to usage, very fine; this value was never used postally and both mint and fiscally used examples are scarce, however the block of 24 is, as far as we know, the largest used multiple known, certainly very rare and highly desirable in a plate reconstruction.
