Great Britain Illustrated Envelopes Mulready Caricatures Comic envelope no. 4 ´Blarney Stone´, used from London to Sligo dated 3 August 1840 - bearing 1840 1d. plate II, OK, unusually affixed to the reverse together with the address details, the adhesive (tied by ink pen strokes) torn through on opening, ink manuscript "2" due charge crossed through alongside, the address panel with fine strike of the red Maltese Cross and light black "T.P/Woolwich"; a few minor negligible tone spots in no way detracting.
