Charles I, group II, contemporary forgery of a Halfcrown, 15.18g., in silver from false dies on a lozenge-shaped flan, type 2c, king in armour on a smaller horse left, plume on horse´s head, cross on housing, reads MA BR FR ET HIB, rev. draped oval garnished shield, between C R, retrograde G in REGNO, m.m. tun on reverse only (JGB 1186 (this coin); cf. N.2207; cf.
