x Boule de Moulins 1871 (Jan 2)-1871 (Feb 17): Rather battered stampless envelope prepaid from Granville with c.d.s. and red "P.P.´´, reverse with Laigle/Paris TPO (Jan 3) and Paris Les Ternes arrival (Feb 17). As the letter was unstamped, it was marked "Droit percu" and would have been charged 1 franc. However the cover was delivered by land (Lettre de Cornes) and not by Boules, thus charged with manuscript ´3´ (decimes) due. Photo Estimate £ 400-500
