Henry VI, Groat, 3.19g., London, lis-pellet coinage, crosses IIIa/none, lis on neck, fleur on breast, pellets by crown, mascle after HENRIC (?), extra pellets in TAS and DON quarters, (Whitton 84; S.1945; N.1526) flan slightly ragged at 3 and 6 o´ clock, the revere lightly porous, otherwise a pleasing toned coin, with an excellent portrait, very fine or better, rare Estimate £ 300-400PROVENANCE:
