A Georgian Flank Company Officer´s Sword An unusual example, with 29 in. (73.5 cm) fullered blade, finely blued and gilt with GR Cypher, trophies and foliate sprays, steel knucklebow guard with two curling side-bars connected by a circle incised with the Prince of Wales´s plumes, ribbed ebony grip and facetted ferrule and backstrap, in its black leather scabbard with polished steel mounts, the locket fitted with a frog-stud in addition to the suspension-ring.
