A Georgian Flank Company Officer´s Sword With 283/4 in. (72 cm) fullered blade, by J.J Runkel, Solingen, blued and gilt with foliate decoration, GR Cypher, Royal Arms (post 1801) and trophy, silver stirrup guard (HM below quillon, London 1806), ferrule and backstrap, chequered ivory grip, in its black leather scabbard with chape, middle-band and locket all in HM silver, the latter engraved on reverse johnstons/Sword Cutlers/12/Newcastle Str/Strand, London.
