An Assortment of Military Headdress A General Officer´s cocked hat, with double gold bullion loop secured by a purl button, black silk cockade and bullion tassels, pale leather internal headband and pleated white silk lining bearing maker´s name JONES & CO LTD,REGENT ST W and manuscript name E.L.SMIE (?), now in a shaped tin with plaque of HAWKES & CO, together with a Colonel´s white/red drooping feather plume; a white pith or cloth Wolseley helmet with pale leather internal headband and red silk lining (lacking chin-chain and pugri); an Artillery Volunteer officer´s blue pillbox forage cap, with silver lace band and Russia braid figure to top (internal headband present but stiffening missing); a brass (originally gilt) skull of a Dragoon Guards officer´s helmet (complete with spike-base but lacking all other fittings); a field officer´s forage cap of the Royal Artillery, with embroidered peak (lacking badge and chinstrap; an OR´s scarlet Torin cap of the Royal Dragoons, with blue flaps and yellow braid piping (no badge); two WW2 Army officers´ khaki field service caps with bronze GS buttons (one now fitted with an officer´s collar-badge of the 3rd Carabiniers); two RAF officers side caps, one (dated 1942) with KC badge, the other with QEC badge; a blue Glengarry with OR´s badge of the Black Watch; two officers´ green velvet Sonkoks of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, with narrow gold lace band and embroidered badge (one complete with its storage tin); and a French officer-cadet´s grey kepi with gold-braided figure to red top and narrow gold lace chinstrap (lot) Estimate £ 80-120
